January 1, 2014 marked the first day of the RTW Fasters challenge. This means that for the entire year the only items permitted to purchase are shoes, accessories, and undergarments. I TOOK THIS CHALLENGE!!! Woohoo! I didn't realize the pressure I would be putting myself under feeling like I must complete an outfit every few days. Let me just say "that isn't happening".
I was excited and motivated to do this fast because of all of the incredibly beautiful article of clothing I had been reading about on several sewing blogs over the course of the previous year and it really made me want to do more sewing for myself than I had done in the past which was mainly for my house and my children.
Journey has begun..... First thing was to clean up my space because I needed to be organized . I don't work well in clutter. These pictures are of my space in the beginning and are very very very slowly evolving into a very efficient room.
